Pool heat pumps operate on the same principles as for residential heat pumps. However, instead of heating air, these warm up the water. Pool heat pumps also use the same gas that is found in air conditioning and heating systems, Freon. Freon is a gas that has high characteristics of heat absorption. So for that particular reason, only a certified air conditioning technician can carry out repairs on heat pumps for pools.

Installations
